Getblogger and Otello grow new users 20% with a pay-per-result campaign

From March 1 to March 31, 2026, Getblogger and hotel booking service Otello tested webmasters as a channel for new-user acquisition, with goals to lift bookings, average check and the efficiency of Otello's CPA channel without raising the cost of acquiring a customer. Getblogger reviewed potential partners and prioritized webmaster audiences concentrated in Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg, then built the campaign around one key partner from the gift-panel segment. That panel appears on the order confirmation page or inside the emailed receipt, depending on the platform, offering users a bonus or discount right after a purchase. Otello's slot in the panel carried a 20% discount on a first booking, redeemed through a personal UTM link and promo code, and the teams tested creatives, calls to action, names and formats, including messaging built around trip savings. "This approach helps flexibly match tools to business tasks and deliver measurable results," said Denis Gugkaev, head of the CPA department at Getblogger and MTS Partner Network.
Post-purchase placements like this reach shoppers seconds after they have already committed to spending money elsewhere, a moment blogger content rarely reaches. Alexandra Ayupova, who runs Otello's partner program, said the test was a chance to evaluate webmasters as a standalone client-acquisition channel and that it produced new users alongside gains in commercial metrics such as average check. Travel and hospitality advertisers running CPA budgets now have a benchmark for webmaster placements: regional targeting toward Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg, and a first-booking discount as the message that performed best in this test. Loyalty-program, email and push placements from the same webmaster added further contact volume and supported conversion to bookings.
