Perion Network is scaling artificial intelligence across its Perion One platform, reporting second-quarter spend growth of 60% in retail media, 56% in connected TV and 45% in digital out-of-home. Outmax, the platform's AI engine, saw adoption grow more than 130% in the quarter and now analyzes campaign data, creative assets and key performance indicators to recommend budget shifts. The company introduced Ask Perion, an interface for clients to submit campaigns and review results, and it plans to connect Outmax to ChatGPT and Google Shopping. Perion's digital out-of-home business, its largest channel, runs in-store inventory for retailers including Best Buy Canada across more than 1.6 million screens in over 40 countries, and new agency agreements signed after extensive testing are expected to contribute significantly by late in the third quarter.

Budget reallocation recommendations from Outmax reduce the manual work of comparing performance across retail media, CTV and DOOH campaigns, and the planned ChatGPT and Google Shopping integrations extend that automation into commerce-adjacent channels. Access to Perion's DOOH network of more than 1.6 million screens in over 40 countries, alongside its CTV and retail media reach, gives buyers a single platform for cross-channel measurement and reduces the need to stitch together reports from separate vendors. As Perion signs new agency agreements after testing, media buyers evaluating consolidated AI-driven planning tools gain another platform with demonstrated cross-channel results to weigh against in-house or point-solution approaches.
